Avengers: Endgame and “Fat Thor” are the gifts that keep on giving.

While promoting Men In Black: International, Chris Hemsworth stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to discuss how he got into character to play his character for Endgame: By singing Johnny Cash’s iconic and heartbreaking cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Hurt.” The actor even shared a clip of his in-character performance — complete with guitar. You’re welcome, internet.

“I didn’t know if I was ever going to show it,” Hemsworth told host Jimmy Fallon, explaining how Cash’s version of the very morose tune helped him get into character as our favorite Avenger. “Because it was in the trailer, in between a few takes.” He added, “It’s the saddest song in the world. And I’m a terrible singer and a terrible guitarist.”
