One of the biggest bummers about fan conventions being canceled this year, especially San Diego Comic-Con, is the fact we don’t get to see the amazing cosplay that talented fans have spent weeks, sometimes months, putting together. But this weekend’s DC FanDome virtual fan event did something really cool, featuring both cosplay and fan art from fans around the world. Some of them were truly amazing, featuring talented artists and excellent costumers putting together finished pieces that were impressive for their detail and skill.

‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Panel Cosplay & Fan Art


First, the Wonder Woman 1984 panel showed off some cosplay highlights from a number of fans. My apologies for the screengrab for the first one. I wasn’t quick enough to get a proper screenshot so it’s one of the whole stage rather than a close-up. Fortunately, a kind person on Twitter supplied the cosplayer’s name: Jonquil Baker!

The theme of DC FanDome was a global one, with DC making a point to be inclusive of hosts and fans from around the world and that included the fan art. After the Wonder Woman 1984 panel, they showed multiple cool segments of highlighted fan art submitted by fans. Here are just a few of the highlights:
