Amazing news: In case you haven’t heard, Atom Tickets has now partnered with Eventbrite to offer local event ticketing! Not sure what to do this weekend after Independence Day festivities on the 4th of July? Not to worry – Atom’s got you covered. You can now search your Atom Tickets app under the Events tab for comedy shows, concerts, wine tastings, fun classes, and more.
We’re rolling it out in three cities to kick things off – Los Angeles, Boston, and Atlanta – and will be expanding to more cities in the coming months.
To help you in your search for cool things and events this holiday weekend, here are our Top 5 best events happening in Atlanta this weekend (don’t worry, we’re doing one of these for Boston and LA, too).
1. MVP Pre-Fireworks Entertainment Extravaganza

MVP TV Network is back with its Heal The World Tour II! This year’s theme is a tribute to Motown. The family-friendly event at the Arbor Place Mall will feature vendors, food trucks, live music, and a carnival before the fireworks show. There’s also a VIP after party for those adults looking to extend their night. Tickets are $20 for regular price or $50 for VIP tickets.
2. Late Night Improv at The Basement Theatre

If you’re tired of not being able to find late night events, allow The Basement to take care of that with their late-night improv show. The Basement Players comedy troupe hits the stage at 10pm for a night full of audience participation and interactive comedy. If you want some wild, late night fun and laughs, this is for you. Tickets are just $10-15.
3. Grateful Dead Night (Hosted by Grateful Shred)

Chill out with a tribute to the Grateful Dead with the Grateful Shred cover band. It’s an annual Independence Day weekend event for the Shred and BadAsh Allstar Team. Get your friends, have some drinks, and listen to the tunes of one of the most American bands on America’s birthday weekend. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
4. Wings and Whiskey – 4th of July Edition

Chicken wings and whiskey are pretty much the best things ever, and Parlor knows it. Chef Jarvis Belton is whipping up some red, white and bleu wing flavors to pair with various whiskeys to whet your appetite and wet your whistle. Raffle tickets are also available for $5 for the chance to win a number of prizes. Tickets are $60 a piece and include three rounds of 4th of July-themed wings with sides, two specialty cocktails and plenty of music.
5. Perrine’s Third and FINAL Rosé Tasting

Perrine’s Wine Bar has had two previous rosé tastings that have been huge hits. This is their third tasting, and sadly their final one – womp womp. Try 15 different rosés around the world paired with artisan cheeses and various snacks. Grab your gang and get your tickets through the Atom Tickets app fast – they’ll sell out quickly!
Check back next week for new updates and events. In the meantime, check out the Events section on your Atom Tickets app!
