DC fans already can’t wait to get Shazam! in their eyeballs as quickly as possible. The new (and hilarious) trailer Warner Bros. just released for the April movie doesn’t make that wait any easier.

Shazam!, directed by Annabelle: Creation helmer David. F. Sandberg, centers on Billy Batson (Asher Angel), a 14-year-old teen who is able to turn himself into a superhero (played by Zachary Levi) whenever Billy shouts the word “SHAZAM!” But Levi’s super-powered alter ego retains the mindset of a teenager whenever he dons the cape. It’s basically Big but with superheroes.

And that angle, along with generous amounts of comedy, is what the new trailer emphasizes. Even though the movie is rooted in the DC Extended Universe, the studio is hammering home in the marketing that it is much lighter – and funnier – than previous DCEU outings like (ahem) Batman v Superman. (We especially love the bit where Shazam throws an oversized Batman action figure at people chasing him.) Watch the trailer below:

Shazam!, which also stars Green Lantern‘s Mark Strong, hits theaters April 5. Get your tickets here.
