When the first trailer for this summer’s Detective Pikachu hit, it captured both die-hard Pokémon fans and casual moviegoers’ curiosity. The latest trailer now has our attention. Like, all of it.
Warner Bros. dropped the film’s second trailer Tuesday, which offered an epic look at the adventure Pikachu (voiced by Deadpool‘s Ryan Reynolds) finds himself on. The cute sleuth is looking for a missing detective in Ryme City, and the fuzzy guy must team up with the missing detective’s son (Justice Smith) in order to solve the case. Lots of Poke-balls and explosions and action ensue. We can’t wait.
The first trailer was packed with fan-favorite Pokémon, including Bulbasaur, Charizard, and Jigglypuff. This trailer shows off a few more (Snorlax FTW!), and even teases one iconic Pokémon as the film’s baddie. Watch the trailer below:
How many Pokémon can you spot? Flareon ftw!
