Lucasfilm head and producer Kathleen Kennedy was honored at the BAFTAs this past weekend with the BAFTA Fellowship Award, which is the equivalent of a lifetime achievement award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

The prestigious award is well-deserved and a long time coming for Kennedy, who has had a close relationship with the U.K. film industry for decades, including numerous Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies being filmed there. After receiving the award, she was interviewed by BBC News and she offered a few brief but interesting updates about the next Indiana Jones movie which has been in development for a while.

Apparently, it’s far enough along that the script is being hammered away at, she said: “We’re working away getting the script to where we want it to be and then we’ll be ready to go.”

Plenty of fans have been wondering if this would be a sequel or a true franchise reboot. 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull wasn’t particularly well-received and it left plenty of moviegoers wondering if a complete overhaul was needed. But Kennedy nipped those questions in the bud during the interview, explaining that it’s not a reboot but a continuation.

She finished with confirming that Harrison Ford would be back, “Harrison Ford will be involved…He can’t wait.” However, whether or not we’ll see a return of Shia LaBeouf as Henry “Mutt” Williams, Indy’s son with Marion Williams, remains to be seen. We’ll keep you updated when we get more news about the future of the Indiana Jones franchise.
