June has arrived, and the summer blockbuster movie season kicks off in earnest. This year, the summer starts off with the return of two bad boys. Along the way, there’s a Quiet Place prequel, Austin Butler’s new joint, the horror directorial debut of M. Night Shyamalan’s daughter, and more hitting theaters.

Bad Boys: Ride Or Die – Release Date: Friday, June 7

Synopsis: Follows Ida and Benni, who attend to The Winterstein School, which is no ordinary school, and must team together with their magical animals to solve the puzzle of mysterious holes that appeared on the school grounds.

Inside Out 2 – Release Date: Friday, June 14

We don’t know much about it other than that it’s set on the day the aliens invade earth, but what we do know is that it has a hell of a cast that includes Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou.

Horizon: An American Saga – Release Date: Friday, June 28
