Remember in Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, when an elevator opened and let out gallons of blood? Well, it looks like It Chapter Two – another movie based on a Stephen King book – is going to top that.

Jessica Chastain dropped by The Tonight Show Wednesday and told Jimmy Fallon that the sequel to the biggest horror movie ever will have a scene that features the most fake blood ever used in a horror movie.

“I’m going to say something, and I think I’m going to be in trouble, but I’m going to do it,” Chastain teased. “It might be a spoiler. But, in the movie, there’s a scene that someone said on set that it’s the most blood that’s ever been in a horror film in a scene. And I’ll tell you, the next day I was like pulling blood out of my eyeballs.”

Yup, that’s more blood than The Shining and in that bloody rain storm from 2013’s Evil Dead remake. If anyone can pull it off, it’s director Andy Muschietti, who returns to finish the story he started with 2017’s It. The first film, which over-performed at the box office to the tune of $700M worldwide, centered on a group of Maine teens forced to confront the evil, kid-murdering clown Pennywise. Chapter 2 features those kids all grown up and played be stars like Chastain, her X-Men: Dark Phoenix costar James McAvoy, Isaiah Mustafa, and Bill Hader.

Fans will get a chance to see this bloodbath when It: Chapter 2 arrives in theaters September 6.
