Thanksgiving has come and gone, at least in the United States, and the world turns its attention to December and the end-of-year holidays that come with it, no matter what you celebrate. This month is always one of the most interesting of the year fo movies. December is when the big-budget family flicks hit theaters in time for the holidays, but studios also start rolling out their Oscar contenders in earnest. This month does not disappoint, with some huge franchise sequels hitting theaters, but also plenty of indies, a few animated movies, some killer horror films, and more.
