If you have two eyes and the internet, then you’ve noticed that Keanu Reeves is enjoying a bit of a Keanussance right now.

Thanks to John Wick 3, his meme-worthy cameo in Always Be My Maybe, and his work as Duke Caboom in this weekend’s Toy Story 4, the world seems to start and stop at the once and future Johnny Mnemonic’s command. Reeves’ recent resurgence has helped get more eyes on his Bill and Ted costar Alex Winter, who recently celebrated the start of production on Bill and Ted Face the Music with a heartfelt message on Twitter.

The other half of Wyld Stallyns really knows how to pull on all the heartstrings, right?!

Bill and Ted‘s third movie has been in development (or at least rumored to be) off and on since 1991’s Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey. Original Bill and Ted co-writer Ed Solomon is back for the third film, which finds Keanu’s Ted “Theodore” Logan back with Winter’s Bill S. Preston role. The now-middle-aged duo find themselves told by a visitor from the future that one of their songs can save the universe and all life as we know it (“Excellent!”). Their daughters also get involved in the story, which sees William Sadler reprise his Bogus Journey role as the Grim Reaper.

This threequel quickly rose to near the top of our must-see list, and we look forward to Winter keeping fans updated throughout production.

Bill and Ted Face the Music finally hits theaters August 21, 2020.
