Game of Thrones‘ Robb Stark is getting ready to make his Marvel debut.

Richard Madden (Bodyguard) is in talks for a lead role in Marvel’s The Eternals. He will join Angelina Jolie and Kumail Nanjiani. The Wrap had the casting scoop Tuesday.

Variety reports that Madden will play Ikaris, one of the most powerful members of the Eternals. His life force is basically run on cosmic energy, and he as the ability to control his body even when passed out or asleep. So, yeah, he’s a big deal.

While story details are obviously being kept top secret because Marvel, a key piece of the plot reportedly revolves around Ikaris’ complicated love story with Sersi, a character with a fondness for mortal humans. Jolie is rumored to be playing Sersi.

Chloe Zhao, who directed the acclaimed indie The Rider, will helm The Eternals from a script by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.

The Eternals — based on Jack Kirby’s comic about cosmic, almost-immortal beings — is a key part of Marvel Studio’s upcoming Phase Four. It and Black Widow‘s prequel movie are expected to kick off the post-Endgame chapter of the MCU.

No release date has been announced for Eternals yet, but fans can expect it to arrive in theaters sometime in 2021.
