Karen Kingsbury does it again, first her books, then the Baxter Series and now her first full length movie. I hope to see more of her books on the big screen!

Idk what this movie wanted from me. The premise was weird and a little creepy. It was Christian, but not too Christian to be lore accurate. It was shot well and the actors were decent actors but I wasn’t really feeling anything. Some ladies I was sitting next to were crying but idk why. The movie was predictable and cheesy in moments. 3/5.
