Atom User Reviews for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
Enjoyed the movie thanks to T mobile and Atom.
Overall an entertaining movie. No wokeness, political messages, and violence, except that inflicted on the ghosts. Not a masterpiece but good entertainment compared to the majority of movies the past few years.
they spent 80% of the movie making unfunny jokes, hinting at a closeted teen girl possibly in love with a ghost. she was willing to separate from her physical form to become a spirit... to get close to the other spirit.. and do what?
Nothing amazing, but it was fine...the teen human/ghost lesbian relationship subplot was stupid and forced, and the bad guy should've been in it more.
It’s hard to describe how horrible it is really is. Who ya going to call ?? …you can’t if you want your money back :>(
The buildup took up most of the movie, the "fight scene" felt like 2 minutes, gaps in the storyline and lacked the true grasp of Ghostbusters "comedy." In comparison to Afterlife, this movie was a complete bust.
if you're a Ghostbusters fan, you'll love it
was good in the beginning, then dropped that ball towards the end. Girl leaves her body for a ghost girl she is in love with at 15? and man has fire powers, like a Marvel movie, and then the big bad at the end gets beat quickly , no big bang at the end
If available at a theater near you, get the seats that move and vibrate because it made even better!!! I highly recommend this movie!!!
I was really disappointed
Soooooo great! Something for everyone with nods to the past and still paving the way for future movies!
Went to sleep. Didn’t hold my attention.
Not as good as original or afterlife but it's a satisfying popcorn movie
Trying too hard to be quirky and relatable
Was missing the whole point of being a ghostbuster movie
Who you gonna call
Great to see most of the old gang but not nearly enough Ghostbusters music🎶
its just ok,the story wasnt great either.the plot holes, its like every other movies that you have already watch.
Entertaining but all the parts that were in the trailers were not in the movie. Still entertaining but not the ghostbusters movie I was expecting. But good to see everyone back. Rip Harold ❤️
Is this the best Ghostbusters movie ever? No. Is it super cute, family friendly, funny, and fun? Yep! Take the fam and go!

A disappointing second sequel...but then again, so was the first sequel. The Trailers were definitely deceiving, and it seems Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan don't even understand the characters they created just 4 years ago. This movie just went in so many direction with no real motivation, and then just dropped everything because they finally realized they were at an hour and a half with no real plot built...so they shoehorned a BS process to get the villain released, and then 15 minutes later the movie ends. As for the nostalgia...well, Jason and Gil just didn't use it right either. Honestly, this second sequel falls below the first sequel as it barely fired on one cylinder of Ecto-1's v-8.
Pheobe was the frustrating Character in the movie, and if this Universe is going revolve around her the Franchise is going in the wrong direction.
Excellent movie, reminded me of Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny
Great Movie, with some very familiar faces. Loved the blast from the past with a twist.
So bad
When James Acaster was on the screen some little kid pointed out and shouted “that’s the best ghostbuster!”

Very long and slow. Not enough action or comedy..
Good movie, not great but good. Needed more villian time!!!
very slow movie
had cute moments but overall drawn out and corny
Good concept, too short, and felt like a nostalgia bait in the end.
Aweful
It was a bit vague and a bit fast but not bad bringing in the old crew with the new one.
a little slow in a couple places but very well done!
Ice storm of fun
considering the themes of this addition to the
This Movie Was A Funtime Watch At The Cinemas Good Ghostbusting Action And (If We See Something Strange In The Neighborhood, Who You're Going To Call, Ghostbusters)
Didn’t get to watch it because I put the wrong date and they took our money and never gave it back
it may be time to open the pasture gate. Carrie Coon deserves better. too bad.
Boring and long
It was good but not great and I’m a ghostbuster super fan. It’s worth seeing but out of the 4 canon movies (excluding 2016) it was my 4th favorite
for kids
Started off fun and lasted until the monster came out. Got boring then.
Jokes didn't land at all and the script relied completely on dumb things happening making the characters not have motivations in the slightest
Not very family friendly
better than the last ones
wish they brought back all the original cast to the movie. was a little disappointed but it was still ok
If you grew up with the original you will like all the nostalgia, worth the trip to the theater !!!
Metacritic
“Frozen Empire” is an eclectic, enjoyable barrage of nonsense.
It’s a franchise reduced to nothing more than a parade of hollow, familiar images, lightly repackaged in hopes that we’ll buy another ticket and try to revisit the emotions we felt when we encountered this world for the first time.
If you accept the low-bar aspirations of “Frozen Empire,” you may get a pleasant-enough experience out of it. It’s a movie that feels almost more like a high production-value TV pilot for an appealing sitcom, with Rudd as the stepfather, than it does a big-screen event on par with the original.
