Ant-Man, obviously.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Rudd has joined the cast of Jason Reitman&#8217;s upcoming\u00a0<em>Ghostbusters<\/em> movie, <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2019\/film\/news\/paul-rudd-jason-reitmans-ghostbusters-1203236578\/\">Variety<\/a> reported Thursday. Details about who he is playing and what role they will have in the plot of the movie are being kept inside the containment unit. But sources say Rudd will play a teacher. (<em>Variety<\/em> also refers to the new movie as being titled\u00a0<em>Ghostbusters 2020<\/em>.)<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the trade&#8217;s scoop, the video with Rudd also appeared:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hQIWF849t_k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Rudd lending his comedic sensibilities &#8212; and Marvel recognition &#8212; is a big boost to both the fans and to the movie. The spark he brings to everything from <em>Ant-Man<\/em> to his Judd Apatow collaborations seem to be a perfect fit for the Ghostbusters&#8217; brand of comedy.<\/p>\n<p>Director Jason Reitman, the son of the original\u00a0<em>Ghostbusters<\/em> director Ivan, has worked overtime to keep the plot of his rebootquel under wraps. But according to our Tobin Spirit Guide (read: internet reports), it seems that the\u00a0<em>Up In the Air<\/em> filmmaker&#8217;s new take will center on a small-town single mom (Carrie Coon) and her son <em>(Stranger<\/em> <em>Things<\/em>&#8216; Finn Wolfhard).\u00a0Wolfhard&#8217;s character may or may not also be a part of a group of ghost-hunting kids.
