Writer-director Matt Reeves’ work with Fox’s recent\u00a0Planet of the Apes<\/em> series proved that he is one of the best and most character-driven genre filmmakers working today. That’s why fan interest is so high in his take on DC’s\u00a0The Batman<\/em><\/a>. But, according to Variety, fans may have to wait a little longer to see Reeves’ vision of\u00a0The Dark Knight<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Variety’s Justin Kroll<\/a> recently took to Twitter<\/a> to reveal recent script changes may likely delay the film’s production and release:<\/p>\n

Here's a small BATMAN update for you: hearing the script is still being polished up and that there's a possibility shooting begins at the top of 2020 instead of fall 2019. Which means it'll probably still be a minute before we find out who the next Caped Crusader will be<\/p>\n
