Pictures announced Monday that November 12, 2021 is when the third chapter in J.K. Rowling&#8217;s series of movies will arrive in theaters. Ron Sanders, President, Worldwide Theatrical Distribution and Home Entertainment, made the announcement.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cJ.K. Rowling created an awe-inspiring universe that has captivated people of all ages, taking us on an extraordinary magical journey,\u201d said Sanders. \u201cWarner Bros. is so proud to be the cinematic home of the Wizarding World and is excited about the future of the\u00a0<em>Fantastic Beasts\u00a0<\/em>franchise. We look forward to bringing the third chapter of the five-film series to audiences around the globe in November 2021.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Production on the new film is expected to begin in Spring 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Despite lukewarm reactions from critics and fans to the adventures of Newt Scamander and Company, Warner Bros. intends to press on with their ambitious five-movie plan for this franchise.<\/p>\n<p>The first two <em>Fantastic Beasts\u00a0<\/em>movies grossed $1.47B at the worldwide box office.
