If that is indeed Iago, we now know who will voice him.<\/p>\n<p>Alan Tudyk will lend his considerable vocal talents to the role, reports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/heat-vision\/aladdin-alan-tudyk-voice-iago-1194074\"><em>THR<\/em><\/a>. Tudyk is no stranger to Disney, having lent his voice to such animated hits as <em>Frozen<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Wreck-It Ralph<\/em>. He is best known among fans as the pilot Wash from Joss Whedon&#8217;s TV series,\u00a0<em>Firefly<\/em>, and as the voice of the reprogrammed Imperial droid K-S20 in\u00a0<em>Rogue One<\/em>. He&#8217;s also our favorite dodgeball-playing pirate in\u00a0<em>Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3f7Vo6mX5Lk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tudyk will also be voicing the Joker in the new Harley Quinn animated series over at DC Universe.<\/p>\n<p>In the original animated film, Gilbert Gottfried voiced the always-yappy Iago, who had a hand in scheming with Jafar to make life especially difficult for Aladdin and Princess Jasmine.
