This week sees the release of a dark thriller from Isabelle Huppert and Chloe Moretz, plus Tyler Perry is back in the eleventh installment of the long-running <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Madea <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">film series.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You \u2018Greta\u2019 Watch Out<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WAEoJkL_8zU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atomtickets.com\/movies\/greta\/278263\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Greta <\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last year, critics praised the film for its twisted plot and tense thriller moments. Months later, Focus Features will finally give the indie film a wide release, and audiences can see what some have called a showstopping performance from Isabelle Huppert. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Directed and co-written by Neil Jordan (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interview with the Vampire<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Byzantium<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Greta <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is about a young woman (played by Chloe Moretz) who becomes friends with an older woman named Greta (Huppert). But she eventually realizes something creepy is going on with Greta, and when she tries to pull away, terrifying events begin to transpire. The cast also includes Maika Monroe, Zawe Ashton, Parker Sawyers, Stephen Rea, and Colm Feore.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eleven Films And A Funeral<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cyD4a8_DHtQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tyler Perry Studios and Tyler Perry himself are back for another round in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atomtickets.com\/movies\/tyler-perrys-a-madea-family-funeral\/253216\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Madea Family Funeral<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where Perry will play multiple roles, including the iconic Madea. The audience for these films has been set in stone for a long time, so we\u2019re expecting about the same appeal and reach as usual, assuming fans of the franchise are still interested \u2013 which we have no doubt they will be.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Directed and written by (who else) Tyler Perry, the film features a reunion of sorts, where the family gathers in Georgia for a funeral that goes awry and reveals some questionable family secrets. The cast includes Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Ciera Payton, KJ Smith, David Otunga, and Rome Flynn.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Limited Releases<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re moving into the spring movie season, which means a lot of indie fare and limited releases from fall and winter festivals are starting to roll out. This week they include <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atomtickets.com\/movies\/apollo-11\/280096\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apollo 11<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (a documentary about the famous 1969 space mission), <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atomtickets.com\/movies\/climax\/272644\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Climax <\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Gaspar No\u00e9\u2019s new dance horror from A24), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atomtickets.com\/movies\/the-hole-in-the-ground\/281644\">The Hole in the Ground<\/a> <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(another A24 horror that premiered at Sundance), and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atomtickets.com\/movies\/the-wedding-guest\/262080\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Wedding Guest <\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Michael Winterbottom\u2019s new mystery thriller starring Dev Patel).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stay tuned next week for our recap of how these films fared at the box office.
