Being a teacher is a tough job even at the best of times. Educators, mentors, social services, de facto parents, counselors, protectors, teachers have to wear a number of hats and their goal is always to put their students first. The last few weeks have been particularly stressful for both LA teachers and students, with teachers going on strike for a number of reasons. To celebrate the end of the teacher strike and in support of LA teachers, Atom Tickets, Twentieth Century Fox\u00a0Film\u00a0and Regal Cinemas\u00a0are\u00a0offering\u00a0educators the opportunity to\u00a0be treated\u00a0to\u00a0a\u00a0VIP\u00a0experience at the movies\u00a0and enjoy an\u00a0exclusive advance screening of\u00a0\u201cTHE KID WHO WOULD BE KING\u201d\u00a0on Thursday, January 24\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0Regal LA Live.\u202f\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

LA\u00a0Teachers\u00a0are invited along with their family members and students. All guests will\u00a0enjoy the royal treatment\u00a0with\u00a0free\u00a0popcorn and drinks. In addition to the screening,\u00a0attendees\u00a0will receive\u00a0a\u00a0free movie ticket from Atom Tickets.\u00a0\u00a0The showtime for the\u00a0Thursday\u00a0screening is 5pm, teachers and students\u00a0are encouraged to\u00a0arrive\u00a0by\u00a04pm\u00a0to secure a ticket. Tickets will not be available for purchase in advance. Tickets and concessions\u00a0will be given out on first come, first served basis. Please note a\u00a0school ID\u00a0(or teaching\u00a0credential)\u00a0will be required\u00a0to attend.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
