Based on the classic, beloved sci-fi novel by Frank Herbert, it boasts a stacked all-star cast led by Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and featuring Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsg\u00e5rd, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, David Dastmalchian, Charlotte Rampling and Stephen McKinley Henderson.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Dune - Official Trailer\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XXqxv7bmmY0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Perhaps best of all, it&#8217;s directed by Denis Villeneuve (<em>Arrival<\/em>, <em>Blade Runner 2049<\/em>), whose visual aesthetic has made him one of the most exciting and dynamic auteurs working with grand, epic sci-fi today. The trailer certainly shows it. Let&#8217;s look at some of the most beautiful shots from the first <em>Dune<\/em> trailer. In every movie of his, there&#8217;s at least one beautiful shot of the actors centered in darkness and backlit by an arresting background. Sandworm! For the first time, the sandworms are given the proper size and scale befitting such an integral part of the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lordy.
