I know. I <em>know<\/em>. Mistakes, they were made. <em>C&#8217;est la vie<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite <a href=\"https:\/\/atomtickets.com\/movie-news\/guilty-pleasure-movies\/\">my love of guilty pleasure movies<\/a> occasionally coming back to bite me, I regret nothing. Sure, Cameron Diaz&#8217;s character spends the first two acts being a walking #MeToo violation, but Tom Cruise doing an over-the-top version of the hyper-competent characters he always plays with a winking self-awareness is a great deal of fun. When he looks Cameron in the eyes and tells her he will get her out of their mess safely, I <em>believed<\/em> it. It got me thinking that if I were trapped in a real-life situation like that with Tom Cruise himself, I&#8217;d probably trust that he could keep us both alive considering the <a href=\"https:\/\/atomtickets.com\/movie-news\/tom-cruise-best-stunts\/\">extensive training and crazy skills he&#8217;s learned<\/a> for various roles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So I asked Twitter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Which actor would you want to be trapped in a life or death situation with?<br><br>My pick: Tom Cruise.
