The actor is always effortlessly funny in interviews and continues to be one of the more humble <a href=\"https:\/\/atomtickets.com\/movie-news\/celebrities-charity-donation-coronavirus\/\">and charitable celebrities out there<\/a>. He&#8217;s also one of the busiest, between running a gin company, a mobile phone company, and currently being involved in six different projects in various states of production.<\/p>\n<p>One of those is the upcoming <em>Free Guy<\/em>, which is now <a href=\"https:\/\/atomtickets.com\/movie-news\/fall-and-winter-movie-release-calendar\/\">scheduled to be released on December 11 of this year<\/a>. And in a surprising turn of events, while talking to Jimmy Fallon last night, Reynolds revealed that of all the movies he&#8217;s shot \u2013 yes, even the <em>Deadpool<\/em> movies \u2013 <em>Free Guy<\/em> is his favorite movie he&#8217;s ever done. Check it out below:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_0m8tztcNyo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With a tone in his voice indicating he knew it would surprise Jimmy and the audience to hear, he explained, &#8220;<em>Free Guy<\/em> is&#8230;I think it&#8217;s my favorite film that I&#8217;ve ever been a part of, it really is. And that says a lot because I&#8217;ve spent half my life working on <em>Deadpool<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He then went on to explain that what made it so much fun was the incredible cast he worked with. &#8220;Taika Waititi&#8217;s in it, Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Lil Rel Howery\u2013the best cast in the whole world. Just every single one of them is amazing,&#8221; he raved about his costars.<\/p>\n<p><em>Free Guy<\/em> is about a bank teller who goes through the motions every single day. Except every single day involves his bank being held up and him getting shot, stabbed, taken hostage, run over, blown up, being obliterated by a falling helicopter, and just generally dodging the utter mayhem that is walking down the street of his city. Then one day, he discovers he&#8217;s actually an NPC in a violent, <em>GTA<\/em>-style video game and he resolves to fight back. Naturally, he does this in the most Ryan Reynolds way possible. Though it was originally set to come out this summer, it&#8217;s nice to know that we&#8217;ll have it in theaters toward the end of the year to pick us up and get us laughing again.
