Atom User Reviews for The Fall Guy
Love the references to the past history of Lee Majors being the fall guy from the TV series and that little sound effect from the $6 million man. Don’t know how many people caught that but we did lol. Really enjoyed the movie. It was great.
A funny action movie! Doesn’t pretend to be anything else, and I definitely appreciate that!
Unexpected, and amazingly good!
I loved it ! It was very original and I was impressed
Easily the best date night movie I’ve seen in a long time! So much fun!!!!
The story line was a bit slow. The action sequences were really good. And when it was funny, it was really funny.
The movie was what is was meant to be it stuck to its original genre and followed the plot very well it did not feel extended. The parts that were supposed to be action were action packed and the comedy parts were hilarious and overall it was an amazing movie
How long you can watch people acting like “look how cool I am”? For me it was about 40 minutes
Very intriguing throughout. Great cast and build up of events.
Awesome movie!
It was great but it was about an hour too long. We felt it was very drawn out!
Great cast. I liked that it was an homage to the stunt people of our favourite movies.
Highly recommend. Great cast, with some funny moments sprinkled throughout.
Love the Easter eggs and cameos !!!
Ryan made the movie, story was silly but the stunts were pretty cool.
I thought it was slow to start which I suppose with Rom Coms is typical. The film action did pick up in the end. Good Tuesday night film. The nod to stunt men and women was well overdue.
A great escape movie. Thoroughly entertaining. Great chemistry between Gosling and Blunt
Bought into the hype, my mistake.
I loved it as it was action packed, good story and funny. Will be seeing it again!
Stunk🤢🤮
Metacritic
It’s all a fizzy, funny, convincingly romantic delight, a tribute to the craft of making big movies with big stunts that is heartfelt in its appreciation without taking itself too seriously.
The Fall Guy is funny, it’s sexy, and it features the boy toy version of “Barbie” MVP Ryan Gosling — which is to say, this time around, he embodies the ultimate action figure.
On top of being a no-holds-barred action movie, The Fall Guy is also the best studio rom-com since Crazy Rich Asians. Gosling and Blunt make for an intoxicating duo, and Gosling really runs away with the rest of the movie, too.
